Tips for Maximizing Your Teeth-Whitening Experience

Tips for Maximizing Your Teeth-Whitening Experience

Self-care is a big buzzword these days. Life can be stressful, and we all have many responsibilities. We can meet them better when we feel — and look — confident. Health and self-confidence go hand-in-hand when it comes to presenting your best self to the world.

One impactful self-confidence booster is addressing stained teeth that have been darkened by coffee, wine, smoking, and simply getting older. Did you know that poor oral hygiene and trauma to a tooth can also cause discoloration? Yet another reason to brush and floss regularly!

Fortunately, Dr. Ali Saeghi offers state-of-the-art teeth-whitening treatment and, as with so many things in life, you can enjoy superior, longer lasting results if you commit to partnering with him to support your treatment after you leave the Modern Age Dentistry office.

No matter what dental issue has you challenged, Dr. Saghi is invested in helping you meet your goals efficiently, creatively, and beautifully — with creative cosmetic dental solutions!

How to revive your teeth so they’re bright and white again

If your teeth have become dull and dark because of neglect, injury, unhealthy lifestyle habits, and eating and drinking foods and beverages that are known to cause staining — think tomato sauce, berries, and soy sauce, in addition to the beverages we mentioned earlier — don’t be discouraged.

Believe it or not, there’s still a way to restore your teeth so they gleam once again!

Dr. Saeghi adopted the impressive Philips Zoom whitening treatment platform, and it’s proving to be a game-changing solution for patients whose teeth have grown dull. After trying an array of other treatments, he concluded that Philips Zoom was far and away the best, hands down, because it’s

Your in-office treatment takes a fraction of the time that most treatments require because Dr. Saeghi doesn’t have to mix any ingredients, the treatment is ready-made, and the application process is quick and easy.

During a Philips Zoom whitening treatment session, Dr. Saeghi uses tools like a bite block that isolate your teeth and protect the tissue surrounding them. Next, he applies the whitening gel in phases, but takes periodic brief breaks.

Some patients experience sensitivity after Dr. Saeghi removes the whitening gel, and if this happens he applies another gel to ease it.

Aside from refraining from eating or drinking for the 30 minutes after your treatment is completed, you can leave our office and go right back to your life!

Make your whitening treatment results last longer

We know you want your teeth to gleam as much as they did the day you had your treatment at our office, so Dr. Saeghi will give you recommendations to keep your smile fabulous between Philips Zoom whitening sessions.

1. Use whitening toothpaste

Dr. Saeghi can point you toward a whitening toothpaste that will augment your Philips Zoom treatment and keep your teeth sparkling.

2. Change how you drink

We know the thought of kicking your morning coffee or tea habit or missing out on that glass of merlot with dinner isn’t something you want to do, and you don’t have to — as long as you take care to use a straw while sipping these beverages.

This minimizes the drink’s contact with your teeth, so they stay whiter longer.

3. Keep up your good brushing and flossing habits

Remember not to neglect the daily care of your teeth. By brushing twice daily and flossing at least once, you’re essentially keeping those little blank canvases — your teeth — beautifully bright and pristine.

4. Adopt this after-meal ritual

If you quickly swish with warm water after your meals, you help to repel the foods and drinks that we know cause staining.

5. Don’t skip your regular dental checkups

By coming into our office for twice-a-year checkups and cleanings, you’re also supporting the lifespan of your whitening treatments. Every time you get your teeth cleaned, we scrape away accumulated tartar and plaque.

6. Don’t think about starting smoking, and if you do smoke, quit

Tobacco really stains your teeth, so making sure that your beautiful smile never comes into contact with a cigarette is a must — not to mention the favor you’re doing the rest of your  body  by staying away from smoking.

Don’t put off scheduling your Philips Zoom teeth-whitening treatment any longer. Feel your best by investing this time in yourself. By devoting one appointment to whitenting, you’ll get months of a dazzling smile that will make you feel comfortable and self-assured — anytime and anywhere.
