How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign is a clear aligner that is custom-made to fit tightly on your teeth. Every two weeks, you switch to a new aligner designed to create just the right amount of force to gently shift your teeth.

Before receiving your first Invisalign aligner, Dr. Saeghi takes impressions or scans of your teeth. Using those, he maps out a treatment plan to achieve the desired results. He then explains exactly how you can expect your teeth to move and approximately how long the entire treatment will take. He checks on your progress every six weeks or so.

For the best results, you should wear your Invisalign aligners 20 - 22 hours every day, only removing them to eat, brush, and floss. Because they are nearly invisible, most people won’t even realize you are wearing them. When treatment is complete you can preserve your beautiful smile and prevent teeth from shifting out of alignment with custom-made retainers.
